TAJO
Tajo is a silver knife with ebony wood whose design requires the use of rings to hold it. This project arose from an interest in merging a fashion accessory, such as rings, with an everyday object, so that the two are inseparably linked.
The design forces the knife to be held in only one way, with the rings fitting perfectly on the fingers. Any other position would be awkward due to the arrangement of the rings.
This piece was exhibited at the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas in Madrid in the IX Muestra de Orfebrería Contemporánea de ADOC.
